Our new Extended Foundation Program (EFP) is delivered over 15 months (60 weeks) and all main streams of study will be offered: Commerce, Science, Design and Arts.

Entry Requirements by Country

EFP is ideal for international students with an IELTS of 5.5 (minimum 5.0 in all sub-scores).

It also suits students who have completed 11 or 12 years of schooling (or equivalent), who require an English-rich foundation program delivered at a suitable pace to enhance study skills.

Australia
  • Year 12: ATAR = 55 or (65% average in school-based results over main relevant subjects).
  • Year 11: 70% average over main relevant subjects.
British System/UK
  • O’Levels: C average over 4 relevant academic subjects.
China
  • Senior Middle 3 (School year 12-Gao San): 70% average over main relevant subjects.
  • Senior Middle 2 (School year 11-Gao Er): 75% average over main relevant subjects.
Hong Kong
  • HKDSE: score of 8 points over the main relevant subjects from Category A.
  • Form 5: An average score of 60% over the main relevant subjects.
Indonesia
  • SMA 3 (new system) 6 in relevant subjects after adjustment.
  • SMA 2 (new system) 7 in relevant subjects after adjustment.
International Baccalaureate (IB)
  • Final year of Diploma – 10 over 4 relevant IBDP subjects.
  • Year 1 of Diploma – 15 over 5 relevant subjects.
Myanmar
  • Basic Education Standard 10 (Year 11): 60% average in 4 relevant subjects.
Saudi Arabia
  • General Secondary Education Certificate: 90% average in the relevant subjects.
Taiwan
  • Senior High School, Year 3 (year 12): 60% average over main relevant subjects.
  • Senior High School, Year 2 (year 11): 75% average over main relevant subjects.
Vietnam
  • Year 12: Diploma of General Education Average = 6 over the main relevant subjects.
  • Year 11: Diploma of General Education Average = 6.5 over the main relevant subjects.

Term Details

Term 1:  An English-intensive term of 10 weeks tuition with stream based introductory subjects, exams and recess.

Term 2: 10 weeks with mid-semester exams and recess plus an 11-week semester with exams and recess.

Term 3: A faster paced university preparation term of 13 weeks with final exams.
